A Brief History of PIN
Sherry Shepherd Sargent, along with other moms, started the Parent Information Network (PIN) in about 1978 when she and other parents began talking about the issues that their students were facing and that families dealt with regularly. What started out as a very informal ‘sharing of information’ is now an organization that is acknowledged by the Cherry Creek School District, its Superintendent and staff, and parent representatives from all the schools in the district.
